Use the keyboard button in top of the screen to show or hide the keyboard.

If you make a mistake, you can press the Revert button to revert to the last saved version. The note is saved automatically when you leave the edit screen.

You can copy text and images, once they are selected, by using the copy button.

You can then tap the screen to move the selection, or open another note to then paste from the clipboard using the paste button.

Use the insert button to select new content such as contact details, date/time, photos from your album or take a picture with the camera.

Installing WePrint for printing/import/export
If you wish to print from “NotePrinter” you need to install the WePrint helper application. This application runs on a desktop or laptop computer and is downloaded from here

Once you have downloaded the WePrint helper software, you can double click on the downloaded file to open the installer.

Install the application “WePrint Server” to your hard disk, or to a USB drive if you wish to use it while traveling.

Running WePrint
Double click on the WePrint helper application to launch it. It should then show the WePrint window.

If an error message is displayed, you may need to configure the preferences (below).

You can start and stop the server with the start/stop button. There is a preference to start the server automatically when launched.

The “Pause Printing” button will pause the server and still allow documents to be sent from the iPhone, but will queue them for printing later.

Configuration
The WePrint software will usually configure itself, but you may have to change some settings.

WePrint software uses a “Server port” to configure a connection for the “NotePrinter” iPhone application. A server port is much like the room number in a hotel. All the port numbers are in the same computer, but point to different applications.

By default, the print server use port 8080. If this number is in use by some other application, you may need to change it. Open the preferences and select the “Use custom server port number” option. A field will appear which you can type a new port number in - try using 8081 or 8082.

Add a WePrint Server
To add a print server, click on the blue button to the right of the “Printer” label. This will start a search for the local WePrint servers. Make sure your Print Server software is running and started. When “NotePrinter” finds a server, it will allow you to select which printer to print to. If there is only one printer, that one will be selected by default and you won't have to choose.

If “NotePrinter” doesn't find a print server, you can enter the server details yourself. The “Add Server” screen allows you to enter the server address and server port values. These are displayed in the window of your Print Server software. The name field is optional. Press “Connect” to test the connection. If there is an error connecting, see the troubleshooting section below.
